JLG is an amazing artist. A lot of acoustic acts write music that has deep personal meaning, but ends up not having a broad appeal when played to a live crowd. At the other end of the spectrum, some acoustic acts have the ability to write upbeat music that’s fun to listen to, but the lyrics leave something to be desired and are forgotten the moment they walk off the stage. JLG’s music encompasses the best of everything. From deep lyrics to amazing guitar work, JLG’s music is on the level of some of the best singer/songwriters of the past and present. From the second JLG walks on stage, to his final song, you won’t be able to take your eyes off of him. His fun and upbeat, but deeply personal songs, makes you want to cheer as if at a concert seeing your favorite rock icon singing a ballad.
